DOES SWALLOWING BUBBLE GUM AFFECT YOU?

-by lanilane ocbina-

At times when you are sitting next to a conversation with your friends and you just laugh your as* out, you forget it that you have a chewing gum playing inside your mouth. Unfortunately, you happen to swallow it but hte good thing is, the gum set through the esohagus and not in your trachea! haha.

YOu always ask, will such swallowed chewing gum ever settle and stick into your stomach for years? will it affect your digestive system? the answer is NO.

Though your stomach is not capable of breaking down a piece of gum the same way it breaks down other food, your digestive system still works to push it down, out to your toooooot… Simply, the swallowed gum is eliminated as a human waste in the same way and rate as any other swallowed food.
